REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

Exchange / Return Policy :

As we deal in vintage and upcycled fashion pieces we can not accommodate returns or cancellations, however for items valued over $300 a store credit or exchange can be arranged. Please note Original shipping and return shipping are not reimbursed.

Please read the item descriptions carefully upon placing your order, as vintage pieces are sold 'as is'. There may be slight flaws which only add to their story. We do a thorough inspection of each piece prior to listing however as a one woman owned and operated company there is always room for human error and if this is the case don't be afraid to say hello and let us know! Please also note that we try our best to give all customers their first choice of color when they order sets and shirts, etc from us. With all materials being 1:1 we may not always have the color option you ordered in stock, if this is the case we will send you the next available color. Brand Name Shoe Refund Policy : 

Brand name shoes are sold new and are inspected before being sold to make sure our customers receive the best quality though slight defects can be expected, this is how we keep our prices affordable. After the customer pays there is a 24 hour refund window. After this point no refunds will be accepted unless the product is not delivered or is proven to be defective. This is because after the 24 hour window processing for all orders begin and products are ordered and shipped. Once shipped the items are out of our hands , when the item shows delivered by USPS we will not offer refunds for the product. Returns are approved on a case by case basis, please do not ship items back to us unless approved, we are not held accountable for any issues that occur for returns we did not issue. If you would like to submit a return request for defective items it must be done within 7 days of your order is delivered, as stated by the Consumer Rights Act of Illinois businesses are not required to offer returns or refunds. We are not legally entitled to give a full and/or partial refund, though we may offer returns, refunds, store credit, a discount or free item, as we sit fit. Again, this is on a case by case basis and will be judged accordingly per customer.

For exchanges, you may request an exchange within fourteen (7) days of purchase for another item of the same value or less.  If you select a lower-priced item, we will issue a credit for the difference to the original form of payment for full-priced items or store credit for SALE items. When submitting your return request above, please note which item(s) you wish to exchange and provide the details of the new item(s) you would like to receive back including the style, color, and size. 

Please note that submitting an exchange request does not reserve the inventory, and we cannot guarantee that the item will be available upon receiving your return.  If we are unable to fulfill your exchange order, we will attempt to contact you for an alternative selection.  If we cannot process a replacement order, we will issue a refund or store credit based on the policies stated for returns.

For all approved requests shipped within the US, you will receive a prepaid USPS return label via email that may be used to ship your order back to our warehouse.  

RETURN POLICY FOR ORDERS ORIGINALLY SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE US :

Full-priced items are eligible for return for refund within fourteen (7) days of purchase.  SALE items are not eligible for return and are considered to be final sale.  We are unable to process exchanges for international orders at this time.  Please note that all international taxes and duties are non-refundable.

International orders approved to be returned have two options when shipping back to our US warehouse:

  • You may ship the goods back to our warehouse with the courier of your choice.  We will provide the necessary shipping documents to be included with your package, however, only a self-postage shipping label will be given.  Shipping charges will need to be paid directly to the courier at the time of shipment.
  • You can choose to ship the package back to our US warehouse using DHL with our discounted rates.  If this option is selected at the time the return is requested, we will provide you with a prepaid return label.  Upon receiving and processing your return, return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund/store credit.

ALL RETURNS

Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Products must be returned in the condition they were received in their original box, items must NOT be worn, if items are worn a refund will NOT be issued and the items will be shipped back to you.

DO YOU OFFER PRICE ADJUSTMENTS?

We are happy to offer price adjustments on items purchased at the regular price within seven (7) days of purchase.  We will refund the difference to your original form of payment.

WHAT IF I RECEIVE A DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEM?

To return a defective or incorrect item received, please contact askvintagevibes@gmail.com with clear images of the wrong or defective item and explanation.  Images should include views of the damage (if applicable), overall shoe, soles, and label located on the side of the shoe box.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming that your return has been processed and refund/store credit issued.  All refunds will be credited to the original form of payment.  Please note that refund processing times vary by financial institution and may take up to seven (7) business days to be reflected within your account.

WHAT IS "UA"?

Our bags, clothing and footwear at Vintage Vibes are listed as "UA" UA stands for unauthorized authentic. Unauthorized authentic means that they were made in the same place as and with the same materials as the original product, but were sold by someone else. Major companies do not stick to one factory to produce their products. instead they assign a certain number (ie. 10,000) per model for each factory to produce. 
These factories do not always produce the assigned amount, they sometimes produce 5X the amount of product they were originally assigned. The reason for this is because they need extra products to replace rejects after they fail to pass the quality inspection. What happens after the company receives their assigned number of items is that they move production to another factory to produce the same items. Now what gets left behind at the factory are the extra shoes, bags, and clothing to retailers like us these are the products that we sell or are used to make our sets. These items were never seen by quality control from the brand directly but are inspected before being sold to you! 

APPLE ELECTRONICS RETURN POLICY: 

For any undamaged product, simply return it with its included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt (or gift receipt) within 14 days of the date you receive the product, and we'll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method.
